Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu is a Turkish actionโdramaโpolitical production produced by Pana Film and is a sequel to the TV series Kurtlar Vadisi and Kurtlar Vadisi Terror. The tenth and last episode of the series, which first started on January 15, 2003 and aired for more than 97 episodes, met with the audience on Thursday evening as the 300th episode on June 16, 2016, and then the series was taken off the air.
This episode, which was initially marked as the "season finale" on YouTube, was later corrected to "finale".
The broadcast life of the series has also been quite active. The series, which was broadcast on Show TV under a different name on April 19, 2007, continued its first three seasons on this channel, then moved to Star TV in the 4th season due to financial reasons, moved to ATV in the 5th season due to conflict problems with the UEFA Europa League matches, and moved to TNT in the 6th season.
Following the closure of TNT, the 7th and 8th seasons were broadcast again on ATV, and the last two seasons were broadcast on Kanal D. In every period of its broadcast, the episodes met with the audience on Thursday evenings at 20.00, which is why the expression "on its own day, at its own time" was frequently used.
Polat Alemdar, the main character of the series, collapsed the Council of Wolves and eliminated the mafia structure in his previous duty, and then became the head of the Public Security Organization (KGT) and began to carry out critical operations on behalf of the state. His new mission has become deeper and more dangerous than his previous adventures, as it involves fighting both internal and external threats.
While the theme of the series focused on the representatives of global powers in Tรผrkiye and terrorism in the first three seasons, it shifted to topics such as foreign intelligence services, agents and the Syrian issue as of the fourth season. The sixth season dealt with internal groups, and the seventh season dealt with a secret state organization called the "Council of Elders".
In the eighth season, a new organization, "Templars", was introduced, in the ninth season, the Pyramid Operation triggered by Polat Alemdar's documents in Cryptex and a great war with the Templars were described, and this conflict lasted until the tenth season, making the tone of the series darker and more serious.
