Zeynep Efser Erkekli is an artist born in Istanbul in 1964. The actor, who has undertaken important projects in the fields of cinema and theater for many years, is also known as one of the experienced names of the theater stage. She is the wife of theater actor รzgรผr Erkekli and the cousin of Altan Erkekli.
Erkekli, who started his artistic life with conservatory education, graduated from the theater departments of Istanbul Municipal Conservatory and Mimar Sinan University Conservatory. The actor, who started his career at Trabzon State Theatre, then worked in various companies such as Levent Kฤฑrca Theatre, Dostlar Theater and Bursa State Theatre.
She currently performs at the Istanbul State Theater and has also participated in studies on Dario Fo's women's plays in Italy.
In addition to his acting, Erkekli took part in many important theater plays and gave successful performances in both classical and modern plays. Some of the important productions he has staged include Shakespeare's "As You Like It", Moliere's "The Miser" and Bertolt Brecht's "The Good Person of Caesarea".
