How to book a hospital appointment through MHRS in Türkiye

Step-by-step guide to booking an appointment at Turkish Ministry of Health hospitals, oral and dental health centres and family physicians via the MHRS website, mobile app and the ALO 182 line, including e-Devlet login, confirmation, cancellation and no-show rules.

How to book a hospital appointment through MHRS in Türkiye

MHRS (Merkezi Hekim Randevu Sistemi, the Centralized Doctor Appointment System) lets you book appointments at all Ministry of Health hospitals, oral and dental health centres and family physicians from a single place. There are three channels: the mhrs.gov.tr website, the MHRS Mobil app and the ALO 182 call centre, and all three see the same appointment schedule. Logging in is now done through e-Devlet or e-Nabız identity verification. Below you will find how to book, confirm, cancel and what happens if you miss an appointment.

🧰 What you need

  • Your Turkish ID (T.C. kimlik) number
  • An e-Devlet password (or mobile signature, electronic signature, Turkish ID card or internet banking for identity verification)
  • Alternatively, an e-Nabız account
  • A phone or computer with internet access; a phone line if you plan to book by calling
  • An up-to-date mobile number registered in the system, for reminders and confirmation messages

Steps

  1. Pick your channel and install the app if you go mobile You can book at mhrs.gov.tr, through the MHRS Mobil app, or by calling the ALO 182 call centre. All three channels show the same appointment schedules and none of them is given priority. If you prefer mobile, download the "MHRS Mobil" app free of charge from your device's store (App Store, Play Store, AppGallery). Before installing, check that the "Provider/Developer" field reads "T.C. Sağlık Bakanlığı".
  2. Tap "Randevu Al" and choose "e-Devlet ile Giriş" On the web, click the "Randevu Al" (Make an Appointment) button on the mhrs.gov.tr home page. On the screen that opens, pick either "e-Devlet ile Giriş" (log in with e-Devlet) or the e-Nabız login option. The mobile app uses the same two methods. There is no direct login with a username and an MHRS password; you must verify your identity through one of these two gateways.
  3. Verify your identity at the e-Devlet gateway If you chose e-Devlet, you are redirected to the turkiye.gov.tr login screen. Enter your Turkish ID number and your e-Devlet password. If you do not have a password, you can also verify with a mobile signature, an electronic signature, a Turkish ID card or internet banking. Once verification is complete you are returned to the MHRS screen.
  4. Select the institution and the clinic After logging in, choose the province and district, then find the hospital, oral and dental health centre or family physician unit in the list. Next pick the clinic (specialty) you need and, if you wish, a specific doctor. District polyclinics are listed separately under the main hospital they belong to, so you can pick the service point closest to you.
  5. Choose a date and time and create the appointment The available days and time slots are listed on screen. For hospitals and oral and dental health centres you can book from as early as 1 hour later on the same day up to 15 days ahead. For family physician units the window starts 2 hours later on the same day and also runs up to 15 days ahead. Pick the slot you want and create the appointment.
  6. Call ALO 182 if you prefer booking by phone If you would rather not use the internet, call the ALO 182 call centre and speak to a citizen representative. After answering the security questions correctly, you can create, view or cancel your appointment over the phone. The line serves the whole of Türkiye 24/7.
  7. View and save your appointment On the web, open the "Randevu Bilgileri" (Appointment Information) menu and go to "Randevu Geçmişi" (Appointment History); your active appointments appear under the "Randevularım" (My Appointments) tab. In the mobile app the same list is under "Randevularım" at the bottom of the screen. You can save the appointment card as a PDF or take a screenshot of it.
  8. Confirm your appointment by 20:00 the day before Under the Confirmed Appointment (Onaylı Randevu) scheme, anyone with an appointment the next day must either confirm it or report that they cannot attend by 20:00 on the previous day. You can confirm through the website, the MHRS Mobil app or ALO 182. If you take no action by 20:00, the system cancels your appointment automatically; no restriction is applied in that case and you can book again. Patients over 65 and cancer patients are exempt from this scheme.
  9. Cancel the appointment if you cannot attend On the web, go to "Randevu Bilgileri" > "Randevu Geçmişi", open the "Randevularım" tab and click the "İptal Et" (Cancel) button to the right of the appointment. In the mobile app, open "Randevularım" and tap the "İptal" button below the appointment. You can also cancel by calling ALO 182. If you cancelled by mistake, press "Geri Al" (Undo) within 5 minutes to restore the same appointment for the same person.
  10. Arrive at the hospital 15 minutes early You need to be at the patient registration desk 15 minutes before your appointment time so the hospital registration can be completed. Bring a printout, a PDF or a screenshot of your appointment card. If you have enabled appointment notifications, the SMS or e-mail you received also shows your appointment details.
