Aslı İçözü, who was born in Istanbul on September 27, 1964, graduated from Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory Theater Department in 1987 and stepped onto the stage. Five years later, in 1992, he joined Istanbul City Theaters and has continued to work as an active part of the theater world ever since.
İçözü, who received the 1st Bedia Muvahhid Award with her performance in the play "Cheese Egg" in 1995, also received important recognitions such as the İsmetKüntay Best Actress Award throughout her career. In addition to the productions he directed at Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality City Theaters and the 13th Istanbul Biennial, he led the popularization of child-oriented scenes in the city theater by directing the Children's Unit for two terms.
He became one of the founders of the Semaver Kumpanya community in 2002 and taught at institutions such as Akademi Istanbul, Istanbul College, Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Medicine. While he introduced both children and adults from different professional groups to the stage with the "Invitation to Play" workshop he started in 2003, he also offered acting coaching to young talents such as FahriyeEvcen, Furkan Andıç and BurakDeniz.
İçözü, who has also been involved in cinema and TV series projects since 2008, starred in films such as “Taş” (2006) and “Gülizar” (2024); He reached a wide audience by portraying various characters in TV series such as "AvrupaYakası", "DüğünSarkıcısı", "BaharDalları", "YerGökAşk", "AlYazmalım", "Çalıkuşu", "GüllerinSavaşı", "BirAileHikayesi", "ActuallyÖzgürsün", "KaderBağları" and "Kalpazan".
