Ayton Sert is a Turkish theatre, cinema and TV series actor and voice actor. He is known for voicing many actors in Yeลilรงam films and for his role as "Gariban" in the TV series Bizimkiler.
He was born on March 25, 1936 in Ordu. In addition to acting, he did voice-over work for many years; He became the voice of many actors in old Turkish films shot during the period when dubbing was common. He voiced other actors in films such as Kanlฤฑ Nigar and Tarzan Rฤฑfkฤฑ.
Stage, cinema and television
In the cinema, he took part in the films Malkoรงoฤlu Akฤฑncฤฑlar Geliyor and Malkoรงoฤlu Cem Sultan, which were shot in 1969. His work in theater was also appreciated: He was given the Traditional ฤฐsmail Dรผmbรผllรผ Award of the Ortaoyuncular Association in 1986 for his performance in the play Barefoot Socrates.
On television, he played Gariban, who brings scraps to Master Davut's shop, in Bizimkiler. His role as Hayyat Vehbi in the 1993 television movie Terzi Baba is among his well-known works.
He died in Istanbul in 1997 during surgery for a brain tumor.
