Born in Istanbul on December 19, 1957, Bilgen Bengü was introduced to music at the age of three or four. Although her family planned to attend Ankara State Conservatory, her career as a soloist in the school orchestra during her high school years fed her passion for singing.
During high school, he met Nino Varon while accompanying a classmate's grandmother to her music studies; Varon noticed Bilgen's talent. When she decided to participate in the "Cici Kızlar" project initiated by Şanar Yurdatapan, her family signed her first music contract.
