This team, which made a name for itself in both the local and international arenas with its strong performances in the 1980s, was engraved in memories especially with the successes it achieved in the 1982 and 1983 seasons.
The name changes in the club's history are also noteworthy. The team, which has been known by different names such as AFK Vrลกovice, AFK Bohemians, AFK Bohemia and ลฝelezniฤรกลi โโPraha since its establishment, was called Spartak Praha Stalingrad in 1952, and took an important step towards its current identity in 1961.
The club, which was named FC Bohemians Praha in 1993, transformed into Bohemians 1905 in 2005 and finally Bohemians Praha 1905 in 2012.
Bohemians enjoyed championships during both the Czechoslovakia and independent Czechia periods. While he won the Czech Championship in 1982, he also became the Czechoslovakian Championship a year later. In the same period, the team showed a remarkable performance in the UEFA Cup, one of Europe's important tournaments, and managed to advance to the semi-finals.
Bohemians, who failed to qualify for the finals after losing to RSC Anderlecht in the 1982-83 UEFA Cup season, left their mark on Czech football history with this success. Bohemians Praha 1905, which has existed both locally and internationally since those years, continues to remain an important part of Czech football.
