Burak Aydos, born in Ankara on January 8, 1972, is an artist who has been a singer and songwriter for many years.

Completing his education at all basic levels in Ankara, Aydos was introduced to music in 1983 with the solfege and piano lessons he took from Metin Tufan. Four years later, he gained the right to transfer to the double bass department of Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory; However, he had to leave school within a year due to inadequacy.

During this period, he did not lose touch with his teaching and in 1991, he performed his work "Mor Menekşe" in TRT's Golden Antenna Composition Competition, reaching the final and receiving an honorable mention.

In 1993, he took Turkey to the international arena. He undertook the lyrics, music and choreography of the song "Esmer Yarim" in the Eurovision Song Contest held in Cork, Ireland, and made the arrangement together with Mete Artun. The competition took place in a format in which 25 countries participated and the threshold system was applied for the first time; Türkiye came in 21st place and was unable to participate in Eurovision the following year.

In 1995, he took a break from his university education and released his solo album "No Conditions, No Rules, Account" on 30 November. In the album, he worked with names such as Vedat Sakman on vocals and percussion, Erdinç Şenyaylar on flamenco guitar, Soner Egesel on classical guitar, Cüneyt Sözmen on bass guitar, Mısırlı Ahmet on percussion and Volkan Öktem on drums.

The music videos for the songs "Yalnızlık Benim Eski Valentine" and "Beni Verme Ellere" from the album expanded the artist's audience; In particular, “Loneliness is My Ex-Lover” was performed again with a new interpretation in 2005.

Aydos, who prioritizes verbal and melodic structure in his compositions rather than focusing on chorus, prefers to stay away from the temporary trends of pop music. After graduating from Bilkent University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of Political Science in 1997, he took a long break after the album "No Conditions, No Rules, Account".

Aydos, who returned to the stage in 2007 with his new project called "30+", brought together the stories of those over 30, a former Istanbul bully, a hopeless lover and a father. Valuable musicians such as Hüsnü Şentıcı on trumpet and clarinet, Nurhat Şensesli on bass guitar, Volkan Öktem on drums and Burç Şensesli on piano took part in the album; The words and music were again written by the artist.

In the same year, the song "Bize Erkek Adam Derler" was used as the generic music of the Eşref Saati series broadcast on Show TV, and Aydos composed another song called "Eşref Benim Duyunca" for the series.
