Çağla Demirsal is a Turkish ice dancer born on January 23, 1995. He competed as a couple with Berk Akalın for many years; The duo won one of Türkiye's first medals in the international arena in this field.
He started skating in Izmit at the age of nine. Together with Akalın, he became the champion of Türkiye in 2011. Since there was no ice dance coach in Türkiye at that time, the federation sent the couple to the USA for training; Here the duo worked with former Ukrainian ice dancer Oleg Voyko for about five years.
They participated in Grand Prix competitions and the World Junior Championship in the junior category; They finished 14th at the world junior championships in 2013. They won a bronze medal in the international competition held in Sarajevo in February 2016, marking a first in the history of Turkish ice skating at the pair level.
