Ceren Moray was born on June 5, 1985 in Diyarbakฤฑr. His father is of Kurdish origin and his mother is a Turkish citizen from Kastamonu. He settled in Istanbul with his family during his childhood and started studying theater here at a young age. While he continued his primary education at Pera Fine Arts High School, he enrolled in Haliรง University Theater Department in 2005 and graduated in 2009.
Her father's heart attack while she was studying for a master's degree was an important turning point in Ceren's life. During this period, he had his first television experience in the TV series "Serseri Aลฤฑklar", which was published in 2003.
