Erdem Şenocak

Erdem Şenocak was born on February 28, 1980 in Afyonkarahisar. After studying industrial engineering, he started his master's degree at Istanbul University, Department of Dramaturgy and Theater Criticism. He took his first steps into theater at the ITU Stage.

He started working with ITU MT in 2005 and in the same period, he took on both teaching and director duties at Bilgi Sahnesi. After joining the Seyyar Sahne group, he continued his professional art life on this platform. The Theater Madrasah, which he founded together with Celal Mordeniz in 2010, has become an important center in the field of performance arts in Şirince and was supported by the Performance Research Association.

Erdem Şenocak, who found a place for himself in the world of cinema as well as his stage work, successfully portrayed different characters in various films. He got his first important role in the cinema in 2017 with the movie "Anouncement". Then he took part in productions such as "Last Exit", "Seen", "Criminals". In 2021, he won the Best Supporting Actor awards at both the Golden Orange and Ankara International Film Festival for his performance in the movie "Between Two Dawns".

Recently, he achieved a significant success in his career by receiving the Best Actor award at the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival with the movie "Ölü Mevsim".

On the theater stage, he took part in many works as both actor and director. He took part in the works of masters such as Molière, Shakespeare and Brecht. He attracted attention with both his performance and directorial contributions, especially in projects such as "Dangerous Games", "The Miser" and "Macbeth". Throughout his artistic life, he managed to establish a strong bond with the audience both on stage and screen.
