Eva Bender, or real name Eva Mรคrta Elisabet Abrahamsson, was born on January 3, 1944 in Junsele, Sweden. Raised in Northern Lapland, Bender spent his teenage years in Stockholm, where he completed his high school education. After working as a teacher for a while, he went to Tรผrkiye and started working in a casino.

His adventure in Tรผrkiye led Bender to his acting career. Eva, who started appearing in Turkish cinema in the mid-1960s, starred in many films. Her most well-known role was the character Eva in the movie Bir Tรผrk'e Gรถnรผl Verdim. This film aroused interest in Germany and brought Bender's name to the international arena.
