The U21 team, which was established to train Fenerbahรงe's young talents, has been appearing in the TFF A2 League for many years. The team plays its home matches on the modern field located in the club's Dereaฤzฤฑ facilities, offering young footballers both league experience and a promising platform.
Fenerbahรงe A2 Football Team has achieved many successes from past to present. In total, he won 4 A2 League championships, 12 B Teams Istanbul League championships, 18 Youth Istanbul League championships and once won the Olympia Laupheim A Youth Football Tournament in Germany. These achievements reveal how effective the team is both locally and internationally.
The history of the team is quite deep-rooted. The team, which first competed in the Friday League under the name Fenerbahรงe B in the 1912-1913 season, was in one cluster in the two-cluster league created in the 1915-1916 season. The team, which was in the PAF League between 1989-1996, was included in the A2 League established in the 1996-1997 season and competed in this league until 2019.
However, when the decision was made by TFF to abolish the U21 league in July 2019, the future of the team evolved in a different direction.
When we look at the achievements of Fenerbahรงe A2, we see that it has won the championship five times in the A2 League. The team, which reached the top in the 1997-98, 1998-99, 2000-01, 2013-14 and 2016-17 seasons, also won the U21 Super Cup in 2017. In addition to these successes, the team, which came first 12 times in the B Teams Istanbul League and 18 times in the Youth Istanbul Championship, reveals the strong structure of Fenerbahรงe in youth branches.
