Gökçe Yanardağ is a Turkish actress and presenter born in Istanbul on September 18, 1975. She started her career as a model, then moved to television after beauty contests, and took part in many TV series for nearly thirty years.
Modeling and competitions
Yanardağ started modeling in 1991 by signing an agreement with an agency. She finished fourth in the Turkish beauty contest she participated in in 1996. In the same year, she represented Türkiye in the Miss International competition held in Japan and was among the top ten.
Television career
Yanardağ, who worked as a television presenter after the competitions, soon turned to TV series acting. She played Selen in 2004's June Night and Esma in 2006's Sıla. These were followed by TV series such as Aşk Yakar, Reckoning and Love and Punishment. In the 2010s, she played the roles of Tülin in Waiting for the Sun, Seher in Kırgın Çiçekler, Asuman in Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar, Sevinç in Sevdam Alabora, Ayşen Özer in Hayat Sırları and Hülya Akgün in Elimi Düşünma.
More recently, she played the character of Nermin in İçideki Ateş, and in 2024, she was in the cast of Ayazın Sonu Güneş.
Yanardağ, who has acted in productions broadcast on different channels such as Kanal D, ATV, Star and TRT 1, has been working on television uninterruptedly since the late 1990s.
