Hülya Avşar

Hülya Avşar, born in Balıkesir in 1963, is known as one of the versatile names of the Turkish art world. He managed to reach large audiences with his acting, singing and television broadcasting.

He started his acting career in 1982 with the TV series İntibah broadcast on TRT. The movie Haram, in which he played the leading role with Fikret Hakan and Salih Güney, two of the important names of the period, enabled him to gain a more permanent place in the world of cinema. Avşar, who is also closely interested in music, released her first album in a short time.

In the mid-1990s, he made a huge impact on the music market with his album Yarası Saklım. The video clip for the song "This Night Will Be Long" attracted attention with both positive reactions and criticism from feminist circles. She also managed to stay on the agenda with her feminist-themed songs such as "Yürü Ya Kulum". This album reached 1.1 million sales, becoming one of his most successful works.

Avşar, who also found a place for herself on television, broke rating records with the program Hülya Avşar Show broadcast on Show TV. Hülya Avşar was born on October 10, 1963 in Edremit. His father, Celal Kurd, and his mother, Emral, belong to a family of Turkish origin.[5][6] His mother's side is a Yoruk and Cretan immigrant, and his father's side is a Kurdish Turkmen tribe that migrated from Kayseri-Pınarbaşı to Kars-Ardahan.

She was chosen first in the Miss Universe Contest organized by Bulvar Newspaper (1983), but her crown was taken back when it was revealed that she was married. The year 1983 was a turning point in Avşar's life. He started his career with the movie Haram, in which he shared the leading role with Fikret Hakan and Salih Güney.
