Margaret Cho is an American comedian, actress, writer and musician who was born in San Francisco on December 5, 1968, the daughter of Korean immigrants. He is known for his stand-up shows about his personal experiences, identity and body image.

His family ran a bookstore on San Francisco's Castro Street.
