Artist Mehmet Özgür from Antalya was born on August 30, 1970. His encounter with the theater scene occurred in 1988, when he attended an event at a language course. After this first step, he continued his theater work more intensively at Antalya Community Center in 1989. Özgür, who completed his art education at Istanbul University Theater Department, continued his artistic life at Antalya State Theater in 1993. His first experience in front of the camera took place in a television series in 2004.
The roles that brought Mehmet Özgür to the masses were the character of Necip Yılmaz in the TV series "Kollama", which aired between 2008 and 2011, and especially the role of "Takoz İrfan" in the TV series "Suskunlar", produced in 2012. Following these successful performances, he appeared before the audience in popular productions such as "Magnificent Century", "Çalıkuşu" and "Filinta".
