Marwa (Arabic: ุงูู
ุฑูุฉ) is the name of the hill located inside the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. It means "flint stone" in Arabic. When Muslims go for Umrah or Hajj, they go back and forth between the Safa and Marwa hills seven times and perform the obligatory sa'y worship.

As a word, "safรข" means meeting needs, and "merve" means generosity or, according to some sources, tears. Safa and Marwa (generosity and meeting needs) are among the signs of Allah and the signs of Abraham.
According to the Quran; There is no sin for a person who visits Beytullah (Kaaba, Bayt al-Haram) during Hajj or Umrah if he circumambulates (serves) them. Whoever does good out of his heart, Allah is Appreciative, All-Knowing and Knowing best.
