Murat Arkın

Murat Cüreklibatır, who was born in Istanbul in 1975, stepped into the world of cinema with the films shot alongside his father Cüneyt Arkın. He was introduced to acting by playing child roles in Cüneyt Arkın's 1979 films Citizen Rıza and 1981's Önce Hayaller Ölür.

After completing his primary and secondary education in Istanbul, Arkın graduated from Marmara University, Department of Informatics, and completed his education in London, where he went for his master's degree. After his graduation, he founded a company here and lived in the capital of England for many years. When he returned to Istanbul in 2011, he appeared on the acting scene again in the TV series Pis Yedili, which he met through an agency.

He played the character "Kare Murat" in FOX's comedy series Harem, which was broadcast in 2012. He played the young character of Kara Cemal in the 2014 movie Andozehir. He played the character "Arif" in the movie Dağ II, which was released in 2016. He played the character of Special Operations Police Kemal Boratav in the mini series Börü, which was broadcast on Star TV in 2018 and lasted for 6 episodes.

In the same year, he also appeared on the screens with the movie Börü, which was about the night of the July 15 coup attempt.

Most recently, he played the character of Kemal Boratav in the mini series Börü 2039, which was broadcast on BluTV between 2021-2022 and is a continuation of the Börü series. With this role, he gained a wide place both in his career and among his fans.

His mother is Betül Işıl Cüreklibatur, and his father is Cüneyt Arkın, one of the legendary names of Turkish cinema.
