Nathan Darren Jones was born on August 21, 1970 in Gold Coast, Australia. Jones, who stepped into the world of crime at a young age, was sent to Boggo Road Prison for eight armed robberies in 1987 and was sentenced to 16 years in prison. But after seven years in a maximum security cell, he was released in 1994, at the age of 25.
Jones, who was introduced to powerlifting while in prison, quickly won the title of Australian National Powerlifting Champion and began to make a name for himself in the sports world.
After his release, he took the nickname "Megaman" and participated in strongman competitions. Jones, who came first in the World Power Championship held in Callander, Scotland, in 1995, came fifth in the World Muscle Power Classic in Aberdeenshire the same year. He consolidated his place in the strongman world by winning the World Strongman Challenge in 1996.
However, he suffered a broken arm in a collision with Magnus Samuelsson at the 1995 World Power Championship, which temporarily took him off the stage.
Thanks to his strong physique and tall height, he had an MMA match with former sumo champion Koji Kitao at the Pride 1 event held in Japan in 1997; It ended in defeat after being caught in an armlock. Jones, who won three matches in World Series Wrestling in 2005, signed a deal with Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling in 2008, but could not appear on stage due to nerve damage caused by a cement truck that hit his arm.
After 2008, he became known in the cinema world by appearing in action films with names such as Jackie Chan, Brad Pitt, Tony Jaa and Jet Li.
