Nilgün Karababa

Nilgün Karababa was born on May 25, 1965 in Niğde. He is an artist who has gained a solid place for himself in the world of cinema and television, as well as Turkish theatre. Karababa, who is also known for his voice-over work, took his first steps in his acting career at Bakırköy Municipal Theater in 1993.

After starting his art education at Istanbul University State Conservatory, he also studied at the Theater and Voice departments of Istanbul Municipal Conservatory. Karababa, who won the admiration of names such as Gökhan Semiz and Uğur Uludağ at the beginning of his professional career, joined the E.S.E.K theater group in a short time.

He proved himself both on the theater stage and by taking part in various television projects. He had the opportunity to work with Meral Çetinkaya in the leading role in the play Sivas '93. Today, he is a member of the staff of Dostlar Theater and continues his voice-over work.

Karababa's presence in the television world spans a wide range. The artist, who has appeared on the screens with many TV series projects over the years, took part in popular productions such as Yasak Elma, Arka Sokaklar, Bizim Öykü and Deli Gönül.
