Nişan Şirinyan is a Turkish theater and TV actress of Armenian origin, born in Istanbul in 1958. Television viewers know him best for his role as Samuel Vanunu in the TV series Kurtlar Vadisi. He has been acting on the stages of the Istanbul State Theater for many years and has also been a director in amateur groups.
Theatre
He started theater as an amateur during his high school years. Then he studied at the theater department of Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory. He started his professional acting career at Bursa State Theatre, and later moved to the Istanbul State Theatre. He took part in many classical and contemporary plays; Molière's Tartuffe and Teneke, adapted from Yaşar Kemal's work, are among these.
Television and cinema
He started his work in front of the camera in 1999; In the same year, he starred in the movie My Love Istanbul. The character Samuel Vanunu in Kurtlar Vadisi, which was broadcast in 2003, made his name known to a wide audience. He also appeared in TV series such as Arka Sokaklar and Married and Furious. In 2021, he joined the cast of the TV series Ramo, and in 2023 he starred in the movie Mother's Lamb.
