Şükran Pelin Öztekin was born on 4 July 1987 in İzmit, Kocaeli. After completing her primary and middle school education at Nurettin Teksan School in Istanbul's Fenerbahçe neighborhood, she continued her high school education at Fenerbahçe High School in the same neighborhood. Having decided to pursue the arts, she studied theatre at Pera Fine Arts High School and developed her talents in the field.
Pelin began her acting career in 2005 playing the character Demet in the series “Hayat Bilgisi”, and a year later joined the BKM Mutfak team. In 2007 she took on the role of Şebnem in the play “Hisseli Harikalar Kumpanyası” written by Haldun Dormen. From 2008 to 2010 she was part of the stage show “Çok Güzel Hareketler Bunlar” with the BKM Mutfak team, and during this period she also acted in the films “Neşeli Hayat” in 2009 and “Çok Filim Hareketler Bunlar” in 2010.
Öztekin appeared before audiences as a contestant on the show “Benzemez Kimse Sana” in 2012 and drew attention with her impressions of celebrities. She then took on various roles in series such as “Doksanlar”, “Hayat Şarkısı”, “Koca Koca Yalanlar” and “Yuvamdaki Düşman”, and most recently appeared in the series “Çatı Katı Aşk”. Throughout her acting journey she has performed as both a supporting and leading actress in many productions.
Pelin Öztekin is also the daughter of the well-known actor Rasim Öztekin. Having lost her father in 2021, Pelin has secured a firm place for herself in Turkish television and film through the mark she has left both on stage and on screen.

Pelin Öztekin is the daughter of the veteran actor Rasim Öztekin.
