Perihan Ünlücan was born on February 28, 1984 in Istanbul. The actor, who was the first child of his family, had a brother who was six years younger. He started his education life at Cağaloğlu Anatolian High School and usually studied with a scholarship.
During her childhood years in Istanbul, Perihan Ünlücan's encounter with the stage did not begin in an ordinary way. According to what she said in her interviews, she was not a child who sang in front of the mirror, did imitations, or experimented with her mother's make-up products. With this attitude, his introduction to acting was actually delayed.
While he was continuing his education at Kocaeli University, Faculty of Science, Department of Physics, he took his first steps in front of the camera with the support of Gül Oğuz. He started his acting career by playing the character Yıldız in the TV series Winter Masalı, which was broadcast in 2009. He described the excitement he experienced during the shooting in Bursa and that moment as follows: "I suddenly found myself on the set of Winter's Tale, as someone who had never even been on stage, almost never stepped on the set.
I was so excited that I almost didn't remember what happened. When my first scene was over, Gül Oğuz said, 'The first scene of Perihan, let's applaud'. That's how it all started."
In 2010, he appeared in a Pepsi commercial with Kenan İmirzalıoğlu. Then, he took part in the TV series Keskin Bıçak by Most Production and worked with names such as İbrahim Çelikkol and Pamir Beijing in this project. However, the series was canceled in its sixth episode due to low ratings. In the same year, he also took part in the project called 20 Dakika and worked with actors such as Tuğba Büyüküstün and Fırat Çelik in this series.
He took his first step into the world of cinema in 2014 with the movie Police Academy: Alaturka. He took part in the project directed by Ali Yorgancıoğlu in this film, which carries elements of Turkish comedy.
