Serdar Yıldırım is a successful Turkish chief wrestler born in Sakarya in 2001. He made a name for himself with his performance and achievements throughout his wrestling career.
Yıldırım started wrestling from the lower classes and achieved success in all categories. In 2021, he attracted attention by coming first in the Big Medium category in Kumluca. In the same year, he was promoted to Başaltın by placing third in the Large Medium category in Kırkpınar. In 2022, he said hello to the title of chief wrestler by placing third in the basalti length at the 661st Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling.
Serdar Yıldırım, who became the chief wrestler at the age of 20, became both the youngest chief wrestler and the first chief wrestler born in the 21st century. The wrestler from Sakarya wrestled in Sakaryaspor Club for many years and was transferred to Ankara BŞB ASKİ wrestling team in 2023.
In the first year he was promoted to chief wrestler, he came in second at the 26th Sancaktepe Oil Wrestling. In the same year, he continued his success by placing third in the 26th Kula Oil Wrestling. In 2023, he won his first title as chief wrestler by coming first in the 58th Akyazı Akbalık Oil Wrestling and repeated this success in 2024. He came first again in the 59th Akyazı Akbalık Oil Wrestling.
In 2025, he continued his consecutive successes by winning the first place in the 21st Hendek Selmandede Oil Wrestling. With these successes, Serdar Yıldırım became one of the important names of Turkish wrestling.
