Serpil Örümcer

Serpil Örümcer, born on December 8, 1952, is one of the well-known names of the Turkish stage; He has both an acting and singing career. First, she married Berkant, one of the popular artists of the period (especially known for his song "Mr. Samanyolu"), and this marriage is remembered as the love that started in a tea garden in Beşiktaş and ended at the wedding table.

Örümcer, who started performing at the nightclub where Berkant worked, built his own fame over time and released five albums and seven 45 records.

This marriage ended in less than a year; While she was pregnant with her daughter, Fulya, Örümcer decided to divorce her husband due to excessive alcohol consumption. Later, she married Hasan Ölük, a businessman from Batman, and continued her married life by taking a total of four more wives.

An important turning point in the artist's career was winning the highest prize money at the Izmir Fair in 1969. He was diagnosed with skin cancer in the 1990s and experienced financial difficulties during this period; However, in 2010, the "Dekodizayn" program renovated his house and gave it a new breath. In 2024, he announced that he had to sell his collection in order to balance his financial situation.

He has also taken part in various productions in the field of acting; He took part in films such as "I Have a Heart Too" in 1968, "Gypsy Love Paprika" in 1969, "My Name is Blood, My Surname is Gun" in 1970, "Dalgacı Mahmut" in 1976, "Ali Baba's Farm" in 1978 and "Arka Sokaklar" in 2024.

As for his music career, he has made his voice heard in many 45 records and long-player productions.
