Sevda Demirel

Sevda Demirel was born on April 28, 1972 in Germany. The artist, who is originally from Gaziantep, played sports with the basketball team while studying in high school in Germany. After her parents divorced when she was sixteen, she immigrated to Istanbul the same year and started her modeling career. During this period, he started to make a name for himself as the vocalist of Asım Can Gündüz, and then he sang on stages in many places, including Northern Iraq, for eight years.

Sevda's cinema adventure gained momentum in the mid-1990s. He stepped onto the screens in 1995 with the movie "Bay E", then starred in the movies "Tatlı Kaçıklar" in 1996 and "Hitchhiker" in the same year; He played the leading role in "Hitchhiking" with Salih Güney and Engin Koç. In 1997, "Have You Ever Asked Me?" and "Golden Shot" in 1998, and in "Passion Crimes" in 2000.

Although he was detained in a prostitution operation on June 9, 1997, Istanbul Police Chief Ramazan Er stated that Demirel was innocent.

In the music world, she released the album "Sevda Gibi" in 2002, "Sus" in 2005 and "Uyanma Vakti" in 2007; During this period, he left his mark on magazine history with the slap he gave to Hande Ataizi in the program "Iki Kere Kiki". After a long break, she returned to her music career by releasing the single "Sevda Tokatı" in 2019 and the song "Yağmur", for which she wrote and composed herself, in 2022.

In the same years, the music videos for the songs "Uyanma Vakti", "Sus", "Sevda Tokatı" and "Yağmur" were also released.
