Sezai Aydın was born on February 15, 1952 in Ankara. His father was Hüseyin Bey and his mother was Meliha Hanım. Aydın, who graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Economics and Commercial Sciences, started his artistic life in city theaters and took part in countless plays over the years.
In addition to city theatres, he also directed the children's entertainment program called "Saturday Saturday" in Keçiören Municipality for a while. During this period, he also appeared in front of the camera and took part in cinema and TV series projects, voicing many local and foreign characters. He transferred his experiences in voice-over and acting to new generations by teaching at the Başkent Academy of Communication Sciences.
Aydın, who is best known in the voice-over community for his roles as John Rambo, Rocky Balboa and Fred Çakmaktaş in local productions, has done a wide range of voice-over work in different projects. This success made his contribution to the art of sound even more evident.
He passed away in Ümraniye district of Istanbul on December 20, 2021, due to heart failure caused by diabetes. His funeral was buried in Karacaahmet Cemetery after the prayer performed at Şakirin Mosque on December 22, 2021. His son Arda Aydın also stated that he lost his right leg while struggling with diabetes shortly before his father's death.
