Timur Acar

Timur Acar was born on December 22, 1979 in Munich. The artist, who spent his youth in Germany, returned to his roots with his family after the earthquake on August 17, 1999 and started living in the Karasu district of Sakarya. His family is of Georgian origin and their roots go back to Artvin. Before stepping into acting, he was among the founders of Moda Sahnesi and contributed to the development of this formation.

Timur Acar, who took his first steps into theater in 1999, studied at 9 Eylül University and improved himself in the field of performing arts. Then, he became known to the masses by taking part in television series such as Kurşun Yarası, Avrupa Yakası and Akasya Durağı. He played the character of Murat in the TV series Bebek İşi, which was published in 2013.

In the TV series Kertenkele, one of his most well-known roles, he masterfully portrayed different characters such as Kertenkele, Ziya Hoca and Kara Faruk, and left the team after the second season of the series. One of the artist's greatest passions outside of theater is music.

Timur Acar made his first marriage in 2007, but this union ended in 2009. Seven years later, on July 23, 2016, he married actress Eda Özerkan for the second time.
