Grand Torino
Torino, which was very successful in the 1940s, lost 18 of its players in a plane crash on May 4, 1949, and in the remaining part of the league, Torino's PAF players led the team to the championship. That team, called Grande Torino, reflected the football played by Brazil in 1958 and the Netherlands in the 1970s. The Grande Torino team has broken records that are difficult to break, such as scoring 125 goals in a season, beating Alessandria team 10-0, beating AS Roma team 7-0 away, and leaving a 16-point lead over its closest rival.
In the 2005-2006 season, it finished 3rd in Serie B and was promoted to Serie A. However, he said goodbye to Serie A in the 2008-2009 season, finishing 18th. It finished 2nd in Serie B in the 2011-12 season and gained the right to compete in Serie A again in the 2012-13 season.
