Yiğit Güralp
Yiğit Güralp is a Turkish screenwriter who was born in the last days of 1977. He is especially known for his scripts of films such as "Ayla", "Uzun Hikâye" and "Sınav".
Güralp, who started his career at a young age, started working as a sales consultant in a clothing store to support his family while he was still a high school student. He rose to important positions in the retail industry in a short time and was effective in the success of many stores thanks to the positive relationships he established with his staff and customers. In fact, these successes were remarkable enough to bring him job offers from many rival companies.
However, at the age of 21, while Güralp was holding important positions such as Human Resources Manager and Stores Director, he took a radical decision and left the company, surprising everyone. The reason for this was his concern that being so successful in a job that was never his dream would get in the way of his true passions.
From this point on, Güralp, who struggled to realize his dreams in the fields of music, cinema and literature while earning a living for his family, completed his university education externally and continued to write stories every night.
After completing his military service, he became the head of the music department of a production company. During this process, he had the opportunity to share the stories he had been thinking about and writing for a long time with the directors and producers within the company. He was asked to work on these original and interesting stories.
When it was noticed that he used a unique language while preparing the script drafts, he was offered to write the script of the stories he wrote himself. After trying a few television projects, he took his first and important step in this field by signing the script of the movie "Sınav". He currently continues his career as a freelance screenwriter.
