Zerrin Arbaş was born in Paris on December 16, 1946. He came from a family where he grew up in both performing arts and cinema; His father was the famous painter Avni Arbaş. When he lost his mother during his childhood, he settled in Istanbul with his grandmother and remained away from his father until he was almost twenty-two.
He was introduced to ballet at the age of five and his interest in this branch of art gradually deepened. He became a student of Madam Olga in the ballet workshops of Taksim Community Center. He continued his education at Saint George Austrian High School and then graduated from Istanbul Conservatory Ballet Department.
Arbaş, who also turned to theater during his conservatory years, took part in the lessons of masters such as Yıldız Kenter, Ahmet Kutsi Tecer and Melih Cevdet Anday.
While he was still a conservatory student, he appeared in front of the camera for the first time in the movie Cilalı İbo and Kırk Thieves in 1964. In the same year, he went to the USA and lived there for thirty years and continued his career there. She married American actor Dehl Berti in 1967; From this marriage, her daughter Derya Arbaş was born.
After becoming a mother, she returned to Turkey from time to time and starred in various films. She separated from her husband in 1973 and married Hakkı Göçeoğlu for the second time in 1984, but this relationship ended four years later.
Arbaş, who was also involved in the real estate sector in Istanbul for a while, starred in the movie Earth Mother directed by Memduh Ün in 1973 and then continued his acting career in Istanbul.
