Zeynep Aksu, born on November 1, 1949 in Istanbul, under the name Fรผsun Demiroฤlu, is the daughter of businessman Cudi Bey, brother of university rector Cem'i Demiroฤlu, and painter Nesrin Subaลฤฑ. After his parents' divorce, he grew up with his father and completed his education at a boarding school; Then he continued to Iลฤฑk High School. After her father canceled his plan to send his daughter abroad, he directed her to beauty pageants.
Aksu, who first participated in a magazine contest under the name "Fรผsun Arda", withdrew because she was late. Later, she entered the competition organized by Hรผrriyet under the pseudonym Zeynep Aksu and was chosen as "Miss Cinema" when she was 18 years old. She signed a contract for 20 films and stepped into the cinema scene with the movie *Namus Borcu*, starring with Cรผneyt Arkฤฑn.
Aksu, who quickly gained a place in the audience's memory with the productions in which she starred, was shown as a rival to Tรผrkan ลoray at that time; In 1972, she received the Best Actress award at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival for her performance in the movie *Stepmother*.
Aksu, who had not seen his father for many years, made peace with his son after participating in the competition. However, one day, when he went on a boat with his father, his father made an emotional exit and tore up all his photographs, awards and cinema-related belongings, all the way to Bรผyรผkada, and threw them into the sea; This incident caused Aksu to end her cinema career.
Afterwards, he continued to live with his father for a while and had two marriages; His first marriage lasted two years and his second marriage lasted fourteen years, during which time a son was born. He has two brothers from his mother's subsequent marriage; The youngest of these is the well-known director Ferzan รzpetek.
Aksu, who returned to the sets years later with a television series in 2003, was also the subject of Ayfer Tunรง's story about her entry into cinema, called "Efsun" in her book "รmรผr Calling This". In 2015, he published a novel called "Noble Idiot" and made his name in literature.
