Deniz Hasgüler (born 13 February 1992, Ankara) is a Turkish actress. He stepped into the cinema with the leading role in Reha Erdem's movie Jîn and won many awards with this first work.
Jîn, produced in 2013, tells the story of a young woman who leaves her armed unit in the conflict zone and tries to travel alone in the mountains. Hasgüler, who played the eponymous character of the film, was chosen as the best young actor at the Buster Film Festival in Copenhagen for this role. The same performance also brought Türkan Şoray the Promising Actress Award at the 20th International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival and the best young actress award at the Bilkent University film festival.
His second work with Reha Erdem was Singing Women. She played the character Meryem in this movie set on an island and received the best supporting actress award at the Ankara International Film Festival.
Although Hasgüler's filmography is limited to two Reha Erdem films, she received festival awards in both productions.
