Emel Göksu

Emel Göksu, born in Malatya on February 25, 1945, is a Turkish theater, cinema and TV series actress. Göksu, who stepped into her artistic career professionally in 1962, is also the mother of Fadik Sevin Atasoy and the mother of İbrahim Eren Keleş, a ballet artist at the Ankara State Opera and Ballet. He took part in the first traveling children's theater projects of the Balance Children's Theatre, which was established in Ankara in 1968-1969.

The artist, who studied at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) in England in 1970, started performing at the Izmir State Theater since 1974, and continued his work at the Ankara State Theater after 1980. Emel Göksu is known for her successful performances both in the theater and in front of the camera. He was especially appreciated by the masses with his character "Fincan" in the TV series Bizim Evin Halleri.
