Hakan Ural

Hakan Ural, one of the well-known faces of the Turkish television and cinema world, was born on January 2, 1968 in Istanbul. Ural, the son of artist Selçuk Ural, grew up with his mother Ceyhan Cem. Ural, who struggled with financial difficulties during his childhood and youth, worked in various jobs such as shoe shine, electrician apprenticeship and water salesman.

Hakan Ural, who started his modeling career at the age of 16, started to receive offers from Yeşilçam in a short time. However, going to America to continue his education caused him to take a break in his career. After returning to Türkiye, he married Sibel Can at the age of 19 and had two children from this union.

Gaining experience in different fields such as real estate, Ural started his acting career with the 1986 movie "Blue Voyage". After this film, he became known for the production in which he starred with Banu Alkan.

In addition to his acting career, Hakan Ural's life also came to the fore with the 10-month prison sentence he received in 1999 for receiving a fake bruise report. Ural, who was released after serving part of his sentence and completed his military service, did his military service in Hatay and Van. Afterwards, he continued to take part in different projects on television screens.

He starred with Kadir İnanır in the TV series "İpsiz Recep", which was broadcast on TRT 1 in 2008-2009. Then, in 2009, he appeared before the audience in the comedy movie "Kolpaçino: An Urban Legend". In 2010, he took on an active role in the business world by becoming the general coordinator of a hotel chain.

Parallel to his career, Hakan Ural continued to take part in productions of different genres. The 2012 TV series "Araf Zamanı" and the 2014 "Code Name: K.O.Z." about the life of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. He starred in the movie. In 2016, he met the audience in the TV series "Kehribar". Nowadays, Hakan Ural, who appears on the screens with a different role, has been commentating with Nur Tuğba Algül in the morning program "What's Happening in Life", which has been broadcast on Kanal D since 2019.
