Kübra Kip is a Turkish theatre, cinema and television actress born in Kayseri in 1987. He attracted attention by receiving awards from important festivals with his first movie.
He completed his primary and secondary education in Kayseri. Then, he studied acting at the Theater Department of Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History and Geography and graduated in 2011. After graduation, she started working at Moda Sahnesi, one of the independent theaters in Istanbul; She played the role of Ophelia in Hamlet staged here.
Cinema and television
His first important work in cinema was the 2016 production My Father's Wings, directed by Kıvanç Sezer. For her performance in this film, she received the best supporting actress award at the Golden Boll festivals held in Adana and Golden Orange festivals in Antalya the same year. In 2017, the Cinema Writers Association also awarded him in the same category.
In 2019, he starred in Semih Kaplanoğlu's movie, Bağlılık Aslı. The film, which tells the story of a new mother and her experiences with the caregiver she hired, was selected as Türkiye's Oscar candidate. For this role, the actress was nominated for best actress by the Cinema Writers Association. On television, she played the character of Gülbin in the TV series Kral Kaybederse.
Kip, who maintains his connection with theater as well as his cinema and TV series works, will be performing at Tekirdağ City Theaters as of 2024.
