Mehmet Aykaç is a Turkish actor born on April 25, 1992 in Hatay. He first became known to the masses with his role as Serkan Özgün in the TV series Kırgın Çiçekler; In the following years, he took part in TV series such as Bir Liter Gözyaşı, Kader Bağları and Uzak Şehir.
He studied music; He graduated from the opera and choir singing department of Istanbul University State Conservatory. Aykaç, who can play the violin and guitar, participated in the O Ses Türkiye competition in 2012, but could not convince the jury in the auditions. While turning to acting, he took lessons from Ahmet Kural and Murat Cemcir.
Television career
He appeared on the screen in 2013 with the TV series Eski Hikâye; The following year, he played the character of Mete in Sil Baştan. He made his breakthrough with Kırgın Çiçekler, which started in 2015 and lasted until 2018. In the series, he played Serkan Özgün, the son of a wealthy family and Defne's twin brother.
In 2018–2019, he played the role of Ali in A Liter of Tears. He played Savaş Tanyürek, a young man studying law and defying his family, in Kader Bağları, which started in 2023. He joined the cast with the character of Engin Şef in Uzak Şehir, which was broadcast in 2024.
