Mete Horozoğlu is a successful theater and cinema artist who was born in Ankara on October 11, 1975. He is the child of a family whose roots extend to Sarajevo, and he started his education in Ankara and continued in Yalova and Karamürsel respectively. He started his artistic journey by graduating from Anadolu University State Conservatory Theater Department in 2001, and then completed his Advanced Acting Master's degree at Bahçeşehir University with a scholarship in 2010.

He took the first professional steps of his artistic career within Theater Anadolu, which was established in Eskişehir between 2001 and 2003. After settling in Istanbul in 2002, he appeared before the audience in many television and cinema projects. During this period, he also had the opportunity to work with reputable companies such as Istanbul State Theatre, Çığır Sahnesi Actors and Semaver Kumpanya.

In addition to his role in the TV series "Yanık Koza", which made Horozoğlu known to the masses, he received great acclaim for his character "Captain Mete" in the movie "Nefes: Vatan Sağolsun", and also won hearts with his character "Soner Talaşoğlu" in the TV series "Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki".

The artist left Türkiye and settled in the United States as a result of an investigation launched against him after the July 15 Coup Attempt. Today, he continues his career by giving online acting training.

He worked in many theaters, especially in Istanbul State Theater in the 2003-2004 season, in Çığır Sahnesi Oyunları in the 2004-2005 season, and in Semaver Kumpanya in the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 seasons.

Although Yanık Koza TV series brought him national recognition, he attracted attention with his role as "Captain Mete" in the movie Nefes: Vatan Sağolsun and became popular with his character "Soner Talaşoğlu" in the TV series Öyle Bir Geçer Zamanki.
