Mine Çağlıyan

Mine Çağlıyan is a Turkish singer born on April 16, 1972 in Istanbul. He became known for the duo Ajlan-Mine, which he formed with Ajlan Büyükburç in the early 1990s.

The duo met through a television program and released the album Aşkolsun at the end of 1993. Although the album attracted attention, the duo parted ways soon after. Çağlıyan and Büyükburç appeared together for the last time in Barış Manço's 1995 album, May You Become Children. Ajlan Büyükburç died in a traffic accident in 1999.

Solo works

Çağlıyan released his first solo album Oyun Bitti in 1995. Apart from pop, he also worked in jazz and electronic music. In 2007, he contributed to the second volume of the Istanbul Calling compilation with Cloud of Tears, and in the same year, he contributed to the soundtrack of the movie Çılgın Dersane with Sabırsız. He released the album Benim Günum in 2009.

After a long break, he returned in 2019 with the Sesleri of the Night EP, consisting of four songs with trip-hop-oriented lyrics and music of his own. In addition to the songs Sabah Olmayan and Uyan, the English versions of these songs were also included in the work.
