Necip Tekçe was an artist who was born in the colorful world of Istanbul in the second quarter of the 20th century and passed away in the same city in the last month of 2004. Unlike his brother, the famous actor Ahmet Tarık Tekçe, Necip is shorter and has a place in memories with his stance, which he carefully styled his black hair and completed with a thin moustache.
Tekçe, who usually played "bad guy" roles in the black and white screens of the 1960s, met the audience through different characters. While Hasan Bin Ayan appears in "Abbas Sultan" as one of Sultan El Haşim's men in "Istanbul Holiday"; He attracted attention with his role as Bahri, who demands tribute, in "Cambazhane Gülü Fadime".
In the "Brat" series, he was remembered with both villain and adventurous characters. Sedat in "Dangerous Game", the character who took Afacan hostage for a while and then put him on his back in "Afacan", and the character who was a member of the gang chasing sardines in "Ayip Ettin Şemsettin", left their mark on the memory of young viewers.
While he was one of Turgut's men in the "Sezercik" series, he appeared as one of Hüsnü's confidants in the tavern in "Ah Müjgan Ah". He played the role of a commissioner in "Buğulu Gözler".
Tekçe, who does not just stick to the "bad guy" stereotypes in the cinema, also appeared in different tones as a board member in "My Life Is Feda for You", as the tavern keeper İsmail in "The Forgotten Woman", and as one of Reşit Bey's friends in the town in "The Return". He played the roles of a man searching for Kenan's missing girlfriend Elif in "Çile", the hotel manager in "Bataklık Bülbülü" and the boxing manager Hakkı Baba in "The Most Beautiful Years of Our Lives".
He also appeared in action movies as enemy captain Pierre in "Shoot Mehmet Vur" and as one of Tahir's men in "Iki Cambaz". Kadırgalı Veli, whom Çakır shot first in one of his last act adventures, "The Man Who Doesn't Fall Down", was among the casino players who paid tribute to Pire Mehmet in "Father's Sons".
In his cinema career, he appeared before the audience as Karagümrüklü Davut in "Journalist", as Yedi Bela Recep, who threatened the slums by saying "I am a man of democracy" in "Our Hope Şaban", as a yacht captain in "Zifaf", and as a convicted Arab in "Road of Death". He played one of his last characters as Niyazi, the carriage driver's steward, in "Hayat Kadını".
