รmer Turan is a poet who was born in Trabzon in 1971. After completing his education at Trabzon Science High School, he started his working life and started his poetry journey in 2006. In addition to being a poet, he has brought his articles on culture and art to the readers in the SoL News Portal for many years, and also served as editor in the Turkish section of the culture-art magazine Akrostiล, published in Belgium and containing content in both Dutch and Turkish.
Drawing attention with his works in the field of poetry, รmer Turan has also been deemed worthy of important awards. He won the รmer Asฤฑm Aksoy Poetry Award with his work "The First Morning of the World", which was published in 2016 and received great acclaim. Then, in 2019, he was awarded the Ceyhun Atuf Kansu Poetry Award with his poetry book "Day of the Horses".
The poet's poetry books include works such as "Uryan and Rebellion" (2008), "Cat's Fall" (2011), "Unwritten History" (2015), "The First Morning of the World" (2015) and "The Day of the Horses" (2018).
