Suavi Eren, who was born in Bilecik on October 8, 1949, is one of the well-known faces of the Turkish stage and cinema world. He started his artistic journey at the Istanbul City Theater in 1959, when he was only 10 years old. Eren, who also performed at Kadฤฑkรถy Provincial Theatre, went to Berlin to improve his art.
Suavi Eren, who founded the theater group "Berlin Actors" during her stay in Berlin, worked as both an actor and assistant director at the Berlin Schaubรผhne Theater in 1985. Then, again in Berlin, he founded the TฤฐYATROM Theater with his friends. His work at THEATER, where he took on important duties such as artistic director and stage manager, continued until 1994.
During this period, he received international recognition by being nominated in the "Best Actor" category at the Venice Film Festival in 1986. When he returned to our country, he continued to contribute to theater by working as a director at Ankara Art Theater (AST).
Suavi Eren, who has shown successful performances in many cinema and television projects since 1976, also takes an active role in the Board of Directors of the Contemporary Cinema Actors Association (รASOD).
