Since 1998, Yudum.NET has been a browser‐based chat hub where English is the common tongue. No app, no plug‐in - just open the site and you’re in the international lobby, which comes alive during the European evening. Once you sign in, you’re placed among music lovers, gamers, film fans and countless other topics. Only members can join the chat; signing up is free, takes a few seconds, and you can also use Google. The chat works on desktop, tablets and phones, with a full‐screen layout on mobile, so you can start talking wherever you are. Your nickname, friends and private rooms stay with your account, so you can pick up where you left off.
Creating a free account changes that. By registering you lock in the nickname you already use, so you won’t have to re‐introduce yourself each time you return. An account also gives you a personal profile, a friends list where you can store contacts, and the ability to set up group rooms that stay available for you and your friends. All of this is optional, but it lets you pick up where you left off instead of starting over.
You’ll find a safe environment: rooms are overseen by moderators, and the community follows strict rules that keep spam, harassment and adult content out of the conversation. Private messages, voice and video calls are also part of the platform for every member.
