Benian Dönmez

Benian Dönmez was born on August 30, 1965 in Ankara. The artist, one of the important names of Turkish theatre, graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History and Geography, Department of Theatre, Acting Major. Dönmez, who started his career at Diyarbakır State Theatre, later appeared on stage at Izmit Metropolitan Municipality City Theater and Ankara State Theater for many years. After retiring from Ankara State Theatre, he settled in Istanbul.

Benian Dönmez's achievements in the field of theater are quite remarkable, having been deemed worthy of many awards throughout his artistic life. In 2003, she received acclaim for her performance in "The Bear in My Garden", for which she was awarded the "Commended Actress" award by the Arts Institution. Five years later, in 2007, he won the Baykal Saran Theater Award with his mastery in the play "Two Persons Hırgür", which earned him the choice of "Best Actor of the Year".
