Eda Özülkü was born in Gölcük on June 2, 1966, and as she grew up, she built a life intertwined with music. As the second child of his family originating from Mersin, he studied from primary school to secondary school in Izmit with his military father and teacher mother. After completing high school in Istanbul, she graduated from Marmara University, Department of Music and continued her academic journey by completing a master's degree in voice education at the same university.
While working as a lecturer during his university years, he was also interested in music studies with his wife Metin Özülkü. Eda's touch on the songs composed by Metin was reflected in the lyrics; Works such as "Words Are Not Enough", "To Be With You", "Have Fun, My Beautiful", "Don't Delay Me", "Birds", "Alladdi Stalked", "Birthday", "Tell Me the Password", "Walk Ya Kulum" and "Let's Wound" are among the examples of this collaboration.
With his wife's insistence and his interest in the applications of his classical Western music education in pop music, he started working on an album in 1993 and left his teaching position.
The artist, who received great acclaim with his first album Parolayı Söyle, released his solo albums "Dalgacı" in 1994, "Uçurdum Da Uçurdum" in 1995, "Al Beni" in 1997 and "İnce Sızım" in 2003. In 1999, he released an album called "Such Love Couldn't Happen" with Metin. In 2004, he took part in the "Storytellers - 1" project for children with the Storytellers group. With his career as a music teacher, he teaches at Bilfen Çamlıca Primary Schools.
