İntizar (singer)

Born in Tunceli in 1974, İntizar Arslan is known in the music world as both a singer and a composer. He spent his childhood in different cities, especially Muğla and Izmir, with his soldier father and housewife mother. Completing his education in Ağrı, İntizar was interested in playing guitar and baglama while studying literature during his university years.

Winning first place in both the folk music and pop categories in a music competition held in Izmir pushed him to take an important step in his music career. This success attracted the attention of artist Sibel Can, and soon he had the opportunity to take the stage at Sibel Can's concert. On that stage, İntizar saw the doyens of the music world, such as Ahmet Selçuk İlkan and Ferdi Tayfur, and received an offer to make an album, especially after hearing from Ferdi Tayfur that he liked his voice very much. This offer helped shape İntizar's musical journey with Ferdi Tayfur's long-term support.

İntizar, who started her music career in 1997 with her first album called "Gelincik", later won the hearts of the listeners with albums such as "Gece Nemi", "Göçebe", "Aldanırım", "Nazar Boncuğum", "Ihlamurlar Altında", "Ömrüm Benimdir", "Aşk Yağmurları" and "Konu Sen Olunca". Projects such as 2014's "Every Love is a Farewell", 2015's "Bandit Cannot Rule the World" and 2021's "My Life" also played a major role in making his voice heard to wider audiences.

İntizar, who is also the cousin of the famous singer Yıldız Tilbe, crowned her musical success by receiving the "Best Fantasy Music Female Soloist" award at the 34th Golden Butterfly Award Ceremony in 2007, and with this award, she further strengthened her place in the music community.
