American actress Linda Kozlowski was born on January 7, 1958, in Fairfield, Connecticut, as the daughter of Polish immigrants. The artist, whose birth name is Helena Parniawska, graduated from Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield and studied drama at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York.
Kozlowski's career began with the production How It All Began, which was staged Off Broadway between 1981 and 1982. Then, she stepped onto Broadway and played the character "Miss Forsythe" in the play Death of a Salesman, and she repeated this role in the film version shot in 1984. Her big breakthrough came when she played the female lead opposite Australian actor Paul Hogan in the 1986 movie Crocodile Dundee. This closeness, which started on the movie set, turned into a real-life relationship.
Kozlowski, who received a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the Golden Globe Awards for her role as Sue Charlton in 1987, appeared in front of the camera again with Hogan in the movie Crocodile Dundee II two years later. During this period, he also took part in different projects such as Pass the Ammo and the television mini series Favorite Son.
In the 1990s, he took on roles in films such as Almost an Angel, Backstreet Justice, The Neighbor and Village of the Dammed. However, he later announced that he ended his acting career due to dissatisfaction with the roles he received.
In his private life, Kozlowski was married twice. After divorcing his wife Noelene, with whom he had his first marriage between 1958 and 1981, and his second marriage between 1982 and 1990, he married Paul Hogan for the third time in 1990. The couple, who had a son named Chance from this marriage, entered the divorce process in 2013 on the grounds of irreconcilability and officially separated in 2014.
