Şehnaz Dilan was born on August 27, 1960 in Izmir, as a child of a family of Yugoslavian origin. While living in Izmir during her youth, she started playing for the women's football team called Filizspor. The artist, who was also interested in photography and modeling during the same period, attracted attention in a short time.
While winning the championship with the team he served as captain in 1981, he also took the first steps in his acting career.
Şehnaz Dilan, who settled in Istanbul in 1982, decided to continue her interest in cinema professionally. He became widely known for his performances in films such as Aşık Oldum directed by Ertem Eğilmez and Poor by Zeki Ökten. In the 1980s, he made a name for himself with his photographs appearing in popular men's magazines. During this period, he took a legal action in 2007 on the grounds that his photographs were published without permission.
Şehnaz Dilan, who has appeared on both cinema and television screens for many years, mainly starred in cinema films in the early periods of her career, but has focused on television series since the 2000s. In addition to her successful performance in the cinema, her efforts in Filizspor, one of the first periods of women's football, are also remarkable.
Dilan, who started his artistic career in 1980 with the movie I Came to Be Yours, has continuously undertaken many projects. He has a place in the audience's memory with films such as Kizlar Kızı, Batak, Mavi Muammer and Poor. He entered the world of television in 1992 with the TV series Nehirler Denize Akar.
The artist, who has continued to take an active role in both cinema and television in recent years, took part in projects such as Secret: Satan's Victims and 60 Days in 2023.
