How to get your SGK service record from e-Devlet (4A registration and service record)

Create the barcoded SGK registration and service record that shows your full social security history on e-Devlet: which service to pick, what 4A, 4B and 4C mean, and how the recipient verifies the document.

How to get your SGK service record from e-Devlet (4A registration and service record)

Whether you are applying for a loan, putting together a new-job file, applying for a scholarship or checking how many premium days you have towards retirement, Turkish institutions usually ask for the same document: the SGK registration and service record. It lists when your social security coverage started, which employers paid premiums for you, how many days each covered, and your reported earnings, all in one file.

The good news is that you do not need to visit a Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu office. You can produce the document yourself through the e-Devlet portal, and the file that comes out is barcoded, so whoever receives it can verify online that it really came from the state records. The steps below cover the "SGK Tescil ve Hizmet Dökümü / İşyeri Unvan Listesi" service. It is free and takes a couple of minutes.

🧰 What you need

  • Your Turkish ID number (T.C. Kimlik No)
  • An e-Devlet password, or mobile signature, electronic signature, chipped ID card or internet banking login
  • A phone or computer with an internet connection
  • An app that can open and print PDF files

Steps

  1. Decide which document you actually need e-Devlet offers two similar-sounding services. "SGK Tescil ve Hizmet Dökümü / İşyeri Unvan Listesi" covers your entire insurance history and is the barcoded document institutions normally ask for. "4A Hizmet Dökümü (Son 6 ay)" only shows the last six months of premium days, earnings and workplace detail. Pick the first one if you have to hand a document to someone; the second is a quick check for recent months.
  2. Sign in to the e-Devlet gateway Open giris.turkiye.gov.tr in your browser. The identity verification screen offers five routes: e-Devlet password, mobile signature, electronic signature, chipped Turkish ID card and internet banking. The most common one is the first: type your ID number and e-Devlet password, then press "Giriş Yap". If you do not have a password yet, you can collect one in person from a PTT branch with your ID.
  3. Find the service from the search bar Once you are signed in, type "SGK Tescil ve Hizmet Dökümü" into the search box on the home page. From the suggestions, click the line that reads "SGK Tescil ve Hizmet Dökümü / İşyeri Unvan Listesi (Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu)". You will also see a "Belge Doğrulama" entry in the same list; ignore it for now, it becomes useful at the last step.
  4. Check the identity and registration details on screen The top of the page shows your name, gender, ID number, parents' names, place and date of birth, and your long-term insurance start date. Below that comes the "Tescil Bilgileri" section with tabs. Read these fields before you generate anything; if something is wrong or missing, it is better to have it corrected before you produce the document.
  5. Read the 4A, 4B and 4C tabs correctly The tabs are labelled "4A Tescil Bilgileri", "4B Tescil Bilgileri", "4C Tescil Bilgileri" and "Banka Sandığı Tescil Bilgileri". 4A covers employees working under a contract of service, still widely called SSK. 4B covers the self-employed, company partners and tradespeople, formerly Bağ-Kur. 4C covers public servants, formerly Emekli Sandığı. If you have worked under more than one status, several tabs will hold records, and the barcoded document includes all of them.
  6. Click "Barkodlu Belge Oluştur" The button sits in the top left corner of the service page. It turns the on-screen data into a formal letter carrying the letterhead of the Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu retirement services directorate, with a subject line about the determination of insurance registration and service records. When it finishes, the screen shows a success notice together with the barcode number assigned to your document.
  7. Save the file with "Dosya İndir" After the document is generated, three buttons appear at the top right: "E-Posta Gönder", "Yeni Sorgu" and "Dosya İndir". Do not print the web page directly; e-Devlet warns you about this on screen. Press "Dosya İndir", save the PDF, and print from that file. The document can run to several pages, and the workplace title list at the end is part of it.
  8. Use the second service if you need recent months in detail If you are checking something short-term, for example whether your employer has been paying your premiums lately, search for "4A Hizmet Dökümü" and open "4A Hizmet Dökümü (Son 6 ay)". That screen breaks down premium days, earnings and workplace month by month. Reading it alongside the full record is the fastest way to spot missing days.
  9. Confirm the document through its barcode Every page of the generated PDF carries a QR code and a barcode number at the bottom. The institution receiving it can type that number into the e-Devlet document verification service for this record, or scan the QR code with the barcode verification feature in the e-Devlet mobile app, to confirm the file came from the system unaltered. Print every page: a page without the QR code cannot be verified.
